Bayreuth Festival 2021

Free of charge for most of the operas!

It is always my dream to go to Bayreuth to enjoy masterpieces by Wagner and this year, 2021, due to the COVID pandemic, we are able to watch live streams at home. COVID is a tragic for the mankind but we should not and are not afraid, just like the spirit of Wagner, we are still able to find the beacon of light in the very dark moments.

Tickets are available on Deutsche Grammophon or BR-Klassik. I signed up for the festival on DG.

Wonderful, except for the premiere of Der fliegende Holländer, all operas are offered for free!

I ordered these wonderful works and I love Der Ring des Nibelungen and Lehengrin best.

Each opera starts at 4 pm (UTC+2) and in China it is 9 pm, which is perfect!
